This introductory course will provide you with the necessary skills to begin your teaching career, allowing you to deliver educational sessions to learners. Upon graduation, you will have the option to continue onto the Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. You can also choose to study towards the Certificate in Education and Training or the PGCE. Regardless of your choice, the Level 4 and 5 Certificates and Diploma in Education and Training qualify you as a fully fledged teacher of further education. This means you can independently deliver and manage courses within colleges, training providers, universities, sixth form colleges, and more.

Inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
Principles and practices of assessment
You will complete a range of assessments, including worksheets, creating an article, and delivering an observed micro-teaching session. Upon completion, you will be deemed competent to begin your teaching career as a trainee teacher.
