All videos are created by the team at Essex Fitness Academy and will help you become the best personal trainer you can be!

At set stages throughout your studies, you will attend a workshop day followed by an assessment day. These are typically a Saturday and a Sunday and cover all practical aspects for the personal training diploma.

You will attend one weekend for the first part of your qualification and a final weekend for the last part of your course.

Throughout your studies, you will be supported by a mentor and tutor on a regular basis. Meaning your studies can stay on track!

You will enjoy top quality online learning and we will also provide you with your own learner manual as standard.

Once you are ready, simply book your assessment days that also come with an enrichment workshop. The workshops cover a range of lifting techniques and great personal training ideas. Once passed, you’re a qualified personal trainer!

The online learning and learner manuals are very comprehensive and your tutor will be on hand to support you whenever you need. But if you’d prefer more classroom time, have a look at our blended learning or full-time courses.

The aim of this qualification is to recognise the skills, knowledge and competence required for an individual to work unsupervised as a personal trainer.

This includes being able to offer one-to-one training, baseline assessment, nutritional advice and progressive programming which is specific to the individual needs of a client.

  • Principles of Exercise, Fitness and Health
  • Health and Safety in an exercise environment
  • Know how to support clients

  • Programming personal training (basic and advanced training systems)

  • Core stability and functional assessment
