Classroom & Self-Paced Study
If you would prefer to have more classroom based learning with your fitness courses, but you don’t have the time to commit to a full-time course, then this is perfect!
Fitness courses using our part-time, blended learning option are more structured at the same time as having the flexibility needed for a busy lifestyle.
This option is more expensive than the on-line study option due to the additional time spent in the classroom with a tutor.
This option is for all of our fitness courses (excluding the 100% on-line short courses), such as our personal training courses, sports massage courses, exercise referral, level 4 low back pain and more.
Put simply, you study your course with a mix of classroom learning and guided home study. Your classroom and practical workshops days of attendance are planned with your tutor at induction.
You will be able to select your attendance days from the flexible timetable, allowing you to fit your studies around your commitments. Please note, although this is flexible, you will still aim to complete your qualification within a reasonable, pre-agreed timeframe.
You will be attending anatomy and physiology workshops, nutrition workshops (depending on your course), principles of exercise, and practical workshops tailored to your chosen qualification.
You simply plan with your tutor the workshops you can attend depending on your commitments at induction.
These workshops are run both during the week and at weekends to make your choice easy!
