Welcome to your apprenticeship training for Team Leader and Supervisor. We have been working very hard to help ensure this apprenticeship really is a bespoke apprenticeship for this sector and we will continue to improve this platform at every opportunity….consider this platform a constantly “evolving” learning resource to help make sure YOU achieve the best outcomes possible.

At the end of the day, the most important people in shaping the future of apprenticeships are apprentices like you, employers and training providers like us. You will find that our online platform for this apprenticeship contains resources that have been created collaboratively by The Vocational Academy (us) and the awarding body Active IQ.
Active IQ are your EPAO (End Point Assessment organisation) for your apprenticeship. In short, this means that they will be allocating a dedicated assessor to you towards the end of your studies. This assessor independently determines whether or not you have met all the required standards via a comprehensive assessment. We (your training provider) will deliver all the information you need via this platform and through delivery in person (either at our campus or at your place of work), in addition to delivering your additional qualification; the Level 3 Diploma in Management.
When we, you and your employer agree you are ready, you will then be put forward for your final end point assessment – EPA with Active IQ.
This platform contains, but not limited to, resources such as:
- Induction resources
- Level 3 diploma in management resources
- Apprentice toolkit resources to help you gather evidence
- Useful resources and additional short courses
- And much more!
Please work through this platform in the intended order where possible. Although we have allowed you “free form” access, meaning you can access all of the materials in any order.
The platform is broken down in to sections. In each section will be a lesson. And where required, there may be “Topics” within each lesson to break it in to manageable chunks. In each lesson and topic, there will be a “Materials” tab you can click on. Where required, this is where you’ll be able to access the key resources for that section to work through your studies.
Please liaise with your employer throughout your apprenticeship and help make sure they are as involved as they can manage. Should you require any additional support at any time, please either contact your designated tutor or e-mail:
