Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at learners working as first line managers, assistant managers, senior supervisors and those working in a range of other management positions. It forms the knowledge and competency elements of the Advanced Management Apprenticeship and supports delivery of the Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship standard. It can also be taken on a standalone basis.
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake 550 hours of learning, of which 284 is guided learning hours.
These include manage personal and professional development, manage team performance, principles of leadership and management, principles of people management, principles of business, manage individuals’ development in the workplace, implement and maintain business continuity plans and processes and manage the impact of work activities on the environment.
This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.
