Management diplomas from The Vocational Academy in Essex

Business Administration Courses:

Business administration is essential to the success of any business. Many people entering in to such a career do not realise how much of a skill that business administration actually is.

It takes organisation, discipline and a sound knowledge of business operations to be successful in this line of work.

Our business courses are delivered at two levels:

  • Level 2 Diploma in Business administration
  • Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration

By the time you have completed one or both of these business admin courses, you will not only hold a qualification, but proven experience of doing the job.

What will I be studying?

You will be learning whilst employed in an admin role. From general administration to business communications, travel and accommodation, meeting minutes and arrangements to managing professional development.

You will have a portfolio to put together that will guide you whilst you undertake activities such as delivering a presentation, participating in business negotiations and creating bespoke business documents.

Upon graduation, you will be highly qualified in business administration and ready to undertake further qualification in business management should you choose.

Progression Opportunities:

Our business courses allow you progression to business management.

If you’ve studied level 2 business administration, you’ll be able to easily progress on to one of our level 3 business administration courses.

How am I assessed?

As you do your job, you will collect a portfolio of evidence. You will also have some study to do, this can either be in the classroom or via independent learning depending on the study option you choose from step 2 below.

Your tutor/assessor will be in regular contact with you whilst you put together the evidence needed.

One thing is for sure, all of our business administration courses ensure you graduate a true professional.

Business Management Training Course:

This course will teach you the principles of business, how to manage and lead people within a business setting, manage professional development and the principles behind true leadership.

This management training course is great as either a progression after studying one of our other business courses, such as Business Administration or Customer Service or from scratch.

It is great to study as a business admin or customer service course graduate as it covers a lot of what will have already been covered, meaning you can focus more on the leadership units without repeating units already completed.

This course is also great to start from scratch as a trainee manager as you will cover everything you need to be a successful manager. From resolving customer complaints to people management and effective leadership, communication and conflict management.

This management training course is an excellent start to your management career.

Customer Service Course:

This is an excellent qualification for both the management training course or customer service skills.

You will learn how to deal with customer complaints professionally, resolve customer complaints, the principles of business, managing professional development and understanding effective customer retention.

Just like our other business courses, many of the units in the customer service course map on to the business administration course and the management training course.

How do I study this course?

As with the other courses, this is an ‘on the job’ course where you prove your competence through hands on experience and collection of evidence for inclusion in to a portfolio.

You will have a work-based assessor who will help you with everything you need to plan and complete your studies.

As with all our business courses, the support you will receive is second to none. And the beauty of our business courses is that once you complete one, you can easily obtain the other qualifications through additional study of specialist units for each course. Without having to study the same units again.

What are my study options?

As with all of our business courses, you study predominantly at your own pace, with your work-based assessor. You get lot’s of support and essentially learn as you build your work based portfolio by collecting evidence to prove your competence.

There is also the opportunity to attend workshops at our campus to teach you the principles of business and other essential skills and units that are common to each of our business courses:

  • The Management Training Course
  • The Business Administration Course
  • Customer Service Course

Government funded 19+ Advanced learner loan: this is for our full courses such as the level 3 diploma business courses. Eligible courses include all of our level 3 business courses:

  • Level 3 Management Training Course
  • Level 3 Business Administration Course
  • Level 3 Customer Service Course

It is an excellent opportunity because your course fees are paid for you by the government department known as the Skills Funding Agency.

You then don’t pay anything back until you are earning over £21,000 per year. Example repayments start from £7 per month on a salary of around £22,000 per year.

Please note however that the whole time you are not repaying your student loan, interest accrues. Meaning your loan grows a little larger every year it isn’t paid. The interest rate is very small, but this can still result in your original loan amount becoming much higher over a prolonged period of time.

VASBA: This option also pays your course fees for you. Your repayments are then made over monthly instalments that are interest free. You only EVER pay back the original course fee amount.

You can spread the fees, interest free for between 6, 9, 12 15 or 18 months depending on the size of the course fees. For example, courses less than £650 can be spread up to a maximum of six months. Courses over these amounts can be spread up to 15 and even 18 months depending on the amount.

Prompt repayment, 9 months or less, results in a discount from your fees.

This is not a loan like the 19+ option above so it doesn’t appear on any credit searches. If you are in a financial position to afford small to medium sized monthly repayments, this is the better option for you. The VASBA option is available for ALL of our business courses:

  • Level 2 and 3 Management Training Course
  • Level 2 and 3 Business Administration Course
  • Level 2 and 3 Customer Service Course

Pay Upfront and get 20% off

This one is short and sweet. Pay the course fees up front and receive a 20% discount off your course fees.

Would like to pay the fees up front but haven’t got the funds saved?

Many students have paid the course fees up front using their credit cards in the past. Some have used the Paypal monthly payments option in their Paypal account to pay the course fees up front.

Either way, you get to pay the course fees up front and still spread the cost over a monthly basis with your credit card company or Paypal.

These are also good ways to pay the course fees as long as you are responsible when using credit.

However you do it, paying up front is always a good way to pay the fees as you get 20% discounted off! Furthermore, if you settle the fees using your own credit card, as long as you are responsible, you can pay them back via low monthly repayments.

If this is your preferred choice, click the pay upfront button in step 4, complete the enrolment form and pay your discounted course fees.
