Who is this course for?

Apprenticeship standard code: ST0071.

This qualification is aimed at individuals who wish to build on their knowledge and skills in the customer service sector. It is designed for learners who deal with customers on a daily basis as part of their job role in a senior position and is applicable to a variety of work environments. It forms both the knowledge and competency requirements of the Apprenticeship standard for Customer Service specialist at level 3 (level 2 also available).

This qualification is also used for our personal training apprenticeship, where you will also learn the diploma in gym instructing and personal training as part of your studies, with additional study in business, marketing and management.

PLEASE NOTE: For apprentices better suited to a level 2 apprenticeship in customer service, this is available at our educational academy.

What will you learn from this course?

These include how to organise customer service delivery, the relationship between customer service and a brand, customer relationship management (CRM), business innovation and growth, fulfil a personal and professional development plan, how knowledge resources are used to support customer service delivery and ways of building relationships within a customer service partnership.

As above, if you are on the fitness apprenticeship, you will also gain the diploma in gym instructing and personal training along with business, marketing and management.

How is the course delivered?

Study at work and within the classroom when required.

If on the fitness apprenticeship with customer service, you will also undergo practical training within our specialist gym facilities.

How will I be assessed?

To complete this qualification you will be assessed by an independent assessor from an end point assessment organisation. Depending on your current achievement in English and Mathematics, you may be required to achieve a level 2 qualification in these subjects before you can undertake end point assessment. Your assessment is typically from 15 months in to your apprenticeship.

This qualification is assessed by a portfolio of evidence.
