A little info on blended learning delivery.....

How is this course delivered?

The part-time option is a blended mix of classroom and practical learning with guided home study. Your classroom learning is on set workshops throughout the course and includes theory sessions on anatomy and physiology, and lots of practical. The dates of your attendance are planned with your tutor at induction. The course is very much tailored to you and your commitments. It can be as intense as you like, or as spread out as you need – within reasonable timeframes of course!

The practical learning covers programming, instructing and coaching training sessions. The aim is that students attending any of our personal training courses are well prepared for their new career as a personal trainer.

What will you be doing?

The Diploma in Fitness Instruction and Personal Training includes:

  • The gym instructor qualification (anatomy & physiology, principles of exercise, health and safety, know how to support a client, planning and instructing gym based exercise programmes)
  • Nutrition
  • Personal Training (anatomy and physiology, advanced programming and coaching a personal training client)

The advanced diploma and ultimate diploma options offer the additional qualifications needed to ensure you really are very well prepared and highly qualified for the industry. You will find you are highly employable as a result. As above, the additional qualifications include, but are not restricted to:

  • Exercise referral (understanding medical conditions from diabetes to hypertension, arthritis, asthma, CPD and much more, advanced programming for such conditions and professional practice)
  • Kettlebells and other CPD fitness courses
  • Level 4 in Low Back Pain (specialist training on the anatomy of the lower back, what goes wrong and how to assess and treat it)

Will you be able to make a good living once qualified?

YES.

As with everything, your success depends mainly on you. However, with our personal training qualifications, you graduate with a highly recognised diploma that is REPS recognised and CIMSPA approved. Depending on the personal training course you select with us, you could also find yourself well trained to run your own business and qualified to deliver all manner of classes, in addition to working with people with medical conditions that you’d normally have to turn away. You will be a highly sought after professional.
